Nestled PRIDE Intersex Sweatshirt
Intersex people are born with sex characteristics (including genitals, gonads and chromosome patterns) that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies. This is an umbrella term used to describe a wide range of natural bodily variations. Intersex people are whole and wonderful human beings just the way they are.
The intersex pride flag was created by Morgan Carpenter of Intersex Human Rights Australia in 2013. It is yellow and purple, as these are colors usually unassociated with specific genders, and the circle in the center symbolizes wholeness and completeness.
